October 22 at 9:03pm:  Emiley is touching the computer screen and sliding her fingers up and down and left to right, saying "It's not workin', Mom." Too much iPhone for Em...
October 24 at 8:59pm:  Em's calling the game tonight "cardinals...5-2."  (She was not correct on this guess, but I'm pretty sure she said it just to jinx the Cards.  She's an American League gal.
October 26 at 7:14pm:  "mom, I need to climb this wall" (tries, unsuccessfully). "hurry, get me a rope."
Not much else going on around these parts.  Em and I had a fairly busy weekend while Daddy was at work.  Saturday morning we went to a craft fair and got some cute bibs for Kellcyn then in the afternoon, we participated in the Travis Burkhart Foundation "Steps for Hope" 5k.  Alisha joined us.  We finished in about 53 minutes, which isn't fantastic time or anything, considering some people ran it in like 20 minutes, but I didn't think we did too bad for a brand new momma and a preggo pushing a 30 pound kid :)  Sunday brought church, Wal-Mart, the first meeting for the children's Christmas musical, and some pictures.  Em was a bit of a cranky-pants after not taking a nap all day, then falling asleep in the vehicle from about 5-6:15.  Needless to say, Em was up pretty late Sunday night, which made to a lovely Monday morning.
Monday, we went to grab a bite to eat at Mi Pueblo.  While we were there, we saw Em's buddy, Briley, from daycare.  Later that night, Em told me, "Mom, I see Briley at "eatin' beans""...apparently she associates MiPueblo with 'eatin' beans, because that's generally all she eats when we're there.  The girl loves beans!
Dance class last night was a little more productive than what it has been the past few weeks.  We had a little more participation out of Miss Em.  She loves to go and she talks about dance class all the time, but for some reason when we're there, she likes to be kind of silly.
Tonight we're hanging out at home and watching Em's new obsession, "Spongebob"  Ugh. :)

Em's pretty sure the best part about eating "cerulmulk" is drinking the milk after the cereal is gone.  Always one of my faves too!

Headed to dance class on Tuesday and Em says "dance class in ours truck!?!?". Her "walkin' on sunshine" song just came up in the shuffle...
She's doing okay at dance class.  She definitely has times where she just does not want to participate.  She's always really excited to go, but sometimes just prefers to sit and watch.  After dance class on Tuesday, our conversation went a little like this:
"Emi, do you like dance class?"
"yeaaaaaah!"
"then how come you don't dance all the time?"
"I dance!"
"you don't do the ballet part...the slow part."
"I dance fasts!"
"you only like to dance fast?"
"yeah!"
"why?"
"too much moosic"
"too much music where?"
"ummm...right here. My heart."

Well, there ya go.  She's definitely got a little too much of something in her heart...I call it energy, she calls it music.  Same thing.
We celebrated "Unkie Matt"s birthday Sunday at Nan and Gramps' house.  Here's Mister Atticus, almost 12 weeks, getting sooooo big!

Poor Atticus!  (and soon to be poor Kellcyn)  Presently, Em has the advantage of being the oldest and the biggest, but I'm guessing it won't take long for Atticus to take over the "biggest" role and pay her back ten-fold.

Alisha, Em and I are doing a 5k on Saturday...Em's got the easy part of it.

Thursday night, Em said "the rangas" were going to win the second game of the world series.  It was a close one, but she was right.  Ol' Daddy likes the Cards in the National League, but Em and I are just plain ol' Yankees fans!
It's been a bit chilly the past couple of days, so today when it was still in the upper 50s in the evening, Em needed to take advantage of it.  The good thing about colder weather?  Cute hats! :)

Tonight, Em said:  "mom, I got it. I not need help. I'm too big." (I tried to help her get the lid off the sandbox) sniff, sniff...

October 1 at 4:42 pm  Should I be concerned that Emi is playing basketball with her babies?...as in using her babies AS the basketball??
October 1 at 6:02pm "Em, did you poop?"
"noooo"
"are you sure? Something in this room stinks."
"umm...it's you."
Never a dull moment with this little comic around.

October 5 at 3:57pm   Emiley is singing "happy birthday" to our cat. I had no idea...I didn't get a cake or anything. I hope the cat's not mad.

October 6 at 7:49pm "daddy, les go watch beese-ball."

October 9 at 10:21am  My poor allergy sufferin' girl was up vomiting nothing but mucus from 4:55-7:30. She's acting fine now, but is still refusing anything to eat or drink because "it make my tummy hurt". Pooooor baby :(

October 9 at 2:03pm   Em: "I need a backrub." definitely a daddy's girl.

October 11 at 6:43am   Em: "I see da moon! ....where it's face?"

October 13 at 6:32am   "mom, where's my hairbow?"
"oh, you need a hairbow today?" (everyday...)
"ummm...I suuuure dooo, MOM!"

(October 5)  Emi's getting a baby SISTER!  We can't wait to meet you, Kellcyn Brooke!

 Watching "Spongebob"...singing "Ohhhhhhhh"

 Emiley's new room! :)
